Cancer and Living Your Life

If one gathered all the cancer survivors of the world and put them all in a room, that room would be bursting with life and all its possibilities. This is a very common characteristic among cancer survivors – a zest for life that seems to come out as naturally as they breathe. It does not matter if some went through alternative treatments cancer techniques or therapies that conventional medicine has come up with. These people are survivors, and of cancer at that. And few have gained that distinction.

And while cancer, for conventional medicine, is defined as a disease whose cure science keeps searching for but yet to be found, for these people, one can look at cancer not as a disease, but as the cure for the life they now live. And while it may seem that it is all a matter of perspective, and while each will swear to the certainty of their cures, be it a conventional or natural treatment for cancer, all know in their hearts that it was cancer that brought them to appreciate their lives now more than ever.

And perhaps that is the treatment for cancer that conventional science seems to keep misunderstanding. Cancer can bring life, or should, if conventional medicine stopped with its painful therapies and even more painful side effects. This is something only the cancer survivors know for a fact, but something all of us should learn at some point in our lives.
